300 People Injured And Eight Dead At Travis Scott’s Astroworld Concert • Hollywood Entertainment News

Dozens were injured and eight are dead after a mass stampede took place during Travis Scott’s Astroworld concert in Houston, Texas.

According to TMZ, 50,000 people were in attendance at the concert and around 9 PM, the crowd started rushing towards the stage, causing multiple people to be trampled and lose consciousness in the chaos. At least eight people were reported dead during the concert and eleven went into cardiac arrest and were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police said a ten-year-old was one of the injured victims of the concert.

Videos on social media show some concertgoers attempting to alert cameramen and crew members from Travis’ team to stop the show as people were getting seriously hurt.

Other videos show concertgoers jumping on police cars and ambulances as they were trying to assist those who passed out during the concert. Prior to the beginning of the show, the footage also showed fans breaking into the VIP entrance where security was not present at the gates.



The Houston Police Department said in a statement that people are still reported missing as of this morning and issued contact information.
