Mild and sunny weather returns

Denver missed its chance for snow earlier in the week, and there’s no hope for the white stuff in the extended forecast. The Mile High City has not yet recorded snow, meaning this year will mark one of the latest first snowfalls in recorded history. The latest first snowfall came on Nov. 21, 1934.

According to the National Weather Service in Boulder, Denver will experience a 66-degree high Thursday under sunny skies. Some clouds will move in overnight as temperatures drop to 39 degrees. Winds could increase in the foothills to 50 mph guts on Thursday night.

Friday will be even warmer, with a sunny high of 70 degrees. Temperatures will dip to 36 degrees overnight.

Saturday and Sunday could see highs of 73 degrees, with mostly sunny skies and lows around 40 degrees.
