Stormi Webster knows a thing or two about making a cameo appearance. We’ve seen Kylie Jenner‘s three-year-old daughter pop up and steal the show on YouTube, IG Live, and even viral challenges. Now, Stormi is using her skills to save her “Lovey” (that’s Kardashian-Jenner for “grandma”) Kris Jenner from some awkward questions about her auntie Kim Kardashian and rumored beau Pete Davidson.
As noted by E!, Kris virtually stopped by CNN’s New Year’s Eve celebration to chat with hosts Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper. She revealed that the K-J crew was ringing in the new year quietly at home and that her cover of “Jingle Bells” is just a teaser for what’s to come next year, but what the hosts really wanted to know was what is going on between her second child and the SNL star.
“Everyone is talking about Kim’s new relationship with Pete Davidson,” asked Andy. “Have you had the chance to spend time with them? How are they as a couple?” While Kris tried to dodge the question by joking about Andy’s “digging,” Stormi decided that was the perfect time to make her entrance and hopped into the video with her grandma.
“Little Stormi. Thank you, Stormi,” Kris said, scooping Stormi into her lap. “You sit right here.” Stormi didn’t talk to Andy and Anderson or make too much of a stir onscreen, but it was enough to move on from the Kim and Pete question. “Nice distraction. Good timing, Stormi. Perfect! Right on cue,” laughed Kris.
We haven’t seen much of Stormi lately, as Kylie has stepped back from posting so often on social media, but we may get more screen time from this little scene stealer when the Kardashian fam’s new show, The Kardashians, premieres on Hulu. The first teaser recently dropped, prominently featuring Kylie and her second pregnancy, and while no release date has been shared yet, we’re hoping it means more adorable Stormi moments are in the near future.
