Victorian Liberal Party Deputy Leader David Southwick says any flaws in Victoria’s health system lays “fairly and squarely” with the Andrews government.
It comes as Melbourne residents were warned of delayed ambulance services after a ‘code red’ was declared due to the pressure COVID has put on the health system.
“We are in a health crisis at the moment, and the government’s done nothing to support that,” Mr Southwick told Sky News host Cory Bernardi.
“Our system is a shambles, and this government, again, is fairly to blame.
“We’re running a third world health system here, in Victoria, and it’s got to get better.”
